Normalcy
I’m unpacked and getting into a normal routine, feels good. Lots of Vault writing and emails today. Hope you all have a happy and efficient Tuesday – at least that’s what I’m hoping for…
Took these photos with David around the house on Sunday. I read an older (February 2012) copy of RUSSH magazine on the plane Friday, and was soo inspired by this issue. I read every word, ripped out half the pages for my collage wall, and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. LOVED.
One editorial, Small Flowers Crack Concrete by Hugh Lippe was my favorite. I was aware of his work because David is a fan, but this was the first time I was moved by his photos. I just love the style and rawness. It’s not easy to explain.
Anyway, we played around with Lippe’s editorial for RUSSH as inspiration. Click over the link and I attached a few shots of Small Flowers Crack Concrete. Oh, and check out David’s Hugh Lippe Pinterest board, its super fly.
