Behind the Scenes
Here is more behind the scenes goodness coming from Anna Batchelor! Anna has created her second BTS video for CaptureFashion.com, and I just really love her so much for it. She joined David and myself last weekend at Canyon Ranch Miami Beach to shoot “Tropical Tempest.”

Nicoleta x Galore Magazine
She’s the one, the only one, who’s built like an amazon.
I want to share a recent online editorial I styled for Galore Magazine with the incredible beauty, Nicoleta Vaculov. My styling approach was simple. When it comes to bombshells, less is always more.
Head over to GALORE for all the smoking hot pics and a cute Q + A with Nicoleta. xx
Tropical Tempest
Shooting in Miami is always a beautiful adventure. The weather has been so unpredictable lately. It’s been really windy so it’s chilly but then the sun feels really warm, so my wardrobe choices have been really schizophrenic. (Note: I’m in a coat, boots and tights like 3 posts down.) We shot these photos at sunrise while a storm was developing on the coast. It was so pretty!! And freaking windy. Chilly windy = not fun. It’s Ultra/Winter Music Conference starting this weekend, so I really wanted to start my transition into bikinis as clothing routine. Are any readers coming to Miami during the next two weeks?
I’m getting really excited. My friend Alyssa from MarieClaire.com is staying with me this weekend and I’ll be dressing Ashley Sky while she is in town, so it should be a really fun couple of weeks. David is traveling to NYC for the next two months, so I am going to be presenting photos on CF a little differently in the upcoming weeks. I haven’t figured it out quite yet….it’s going to be….interesting. Any photographers in Miami looking to collaborate, please reach out to Amanda@CaptureFashion.com.
Back to the post….I have swimwear on the brain hardcore. Specifically, all things Australian. I’m going to have to make a dedicated post to Australian brands for spring. It’s super necessary. The two dresses in this post are by Bless’ed Are the Meek, one my favorite Aussie lines, although I say it wrong constantly. I say “blessed we are meek” or “blessed and meek ones” it’s so embarassing. I am going to have to get it right because I am obsessed with this line and I want everything. #everysinglething

Miami Girl
How’s this for a side-slit?
Let’s collectively admire how sick this dress is by Bless’ed Are The Meek. I mean the cut-outs!! Appropriately enough, the dress is called the “Holey Smoke.” I wore it on Saturday night to the Hearts and Stars Gala in Miami. It’s jersey fabric so I might have been pushing the “black tie optional” dress code, but the awesomeness of the style makes up for any fabric misgivings.
Here I am before heading off to the gala at the Maurice Gibb Marina on Purdy Avenue. This is my favorite park in Miami Beach because it’s just so perfect. The park is filled with the usual park stuff (cute pets, couples, kids, etc.) and then it just goes off from there. The park is faced west for the sunset with views of both 395 and 195 causeways. Sitting on a bench you can see people paddle boarding, on jet skis, boats passing by under the bridge, sail boats swaying in the harbor, cruise ships leaving Port Miami and you can even scope the traffic situation on the way out of the beach. It’s freaking epic. Did I mention it’s right by The Standard and Pubbelly restaurants? Aka when/if your in Miami just go to there, trust me.
Now let’s talk about my “wet” hair. It was totally inspired by Kim Kardashian. She posted a #ThrowBackThursday image of her and Kanye from a recent trip to Mexico and she was rocking wet looking hair. It instantly reminded me of the Vogue cover with JLo (sorry, Jennifer Lopez, you will always be JLo to me!). I remember the hair because Oribe did it, and I go to his salon here in Miami. So, I guess I’m giving homage to both JLo and Kim. Who woulda thought.
BTW – Isn’t this dress ALL kinds of Jennifer Lopez? I see her wearing it to a casual dinner with a sleek, high bun and much more bling.
Check back tmrw for a big editorial with ishine365! Hint: more Aussie brands and a bikini that is out of control cute. xx

What I Want Right Now
All of these things.
Starting at the top is a large chain silver necklace. I have one in gold and need one in silver now, too. I love to go hard with accessories. #blingit
Right below the silver necklace is my obsession! These Alex Wang shoes are everything and croc-effect. The red is perfect, the ankle strap means business – I love them.
In the middle is a pair of Zara dungarees that have made it to my shopping cart almost daily and then abandoned a few hours later. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, I’m really trying to hold off. It’s only a matter of time til Zara wins, though. Zara always wins – price points I can’t resist and an ever-rotating stock of what I need.
The black and white photo on top is an image from one of my favorite blogs, Stop it Right Now. Jayne Min is super inspiring and I read her blog on the reg. When I remember and have clean skinny jeans, I’m so planning a DIY moment to cut ankle slits. Will keep you posted on how that goes.
Last but not least, those white round frame sunnies for WMC next week in Miami look just about right. xx
Guess chain-link necklace in silver. Alexander Wang sandals. Zara dungaree style jumpsuit. Stop it Right now pants and boots. Maddie Shades in white by NastyGal.
