By Amanda Del Duca

photo 3 (8)

We’ve been going lookbook loco over at Slasher Girl. I’ve been trying to produce two or three mini lookbook-style series a month to show off how to wear our stock. Styling and creative direction are FO SHO my biggest passions and really the most fun part of my work at /girl. I also get to meet at the new face babes coming into Wilhelmenia Miami which is certainly another highlight.

I’m going to start sharing the original content from Slasher Girl we produce over here on CF, but def come check us out @shopslashergirl on twitter and instagram for instant updates.

Below are a couple of my favorite shots from the BREEZY LIVING series. Check out all the pics and links to shop the looks at Slasher Girl here.

New Work

Men are from Mars. Yara is from Venus.

Another styling gig from the latest issue of Galore Mag. This one is my favorite! Yara is a D-R-E-A-M to work with and this space series really just does it for me. Silver boots, blue skies and 60s vibes. Check out the entire spread over at Galore MagAll swimwear by Beach Bunny

Finding the Light

How cool is this?! At the time, I couldn’t see the sun beam but that space felt warm so I gravitated toward it.  It’s pics like this that make me happy that I’m always stopping to document the good times. I know a lot of people out there think this generation doesn’t appreciate being in the moment, but without this photos I don’t think I would have remembered this day. Or, how awesome the sun felt on my skin or how excited I was to see the light effect in my photo album a few hours later. The moment was good but the memory of the moment is almost better. For me, at least. x

Twenty Eight

It’s my 28th birthday. Twenty-seven was one HELLUVA year! I started my own business, cut all my hair off and have been the happiest I’ve been to date. I read a really inspiring and great article about being 27 – I highly suggest reading it despite it being a few years old.

Can’t wait to take on 28.

Isn’t this Sandro coat just the bees knees? I’m living for the green color and leather collar. I really needed more green in my wardrobe. I have hardly anything in this deep emerald color.

On Thursday, I’ll be at Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland to celebrate the Sandro Fall 2014 Wonder Collection.

Stop by for styling sessions, champagne and sweet treats!

See you there. xx

Testing out new arrivals to the /girl store around my neighborhood in south beach. Isn’t the light in this photo so cool? The sunset obsession continues. xx
