Miami Fashion Bloggers x Capture Fashion
Behold! My latest project featuring Miami Fashion bloggers, photographed by David Lundblad.
Over the past month, I invited the top 12 fashion bloggers in Miami to come and shoot with myself and David for what I hoped to be an epic group photo. I couldn’t have pictured a better turn out. All these dope ladies really brought it with the personal style and made my job a true joy. I have lots of love and respect for each one of my fellow Miami style mavens and I’m super proud of this photo.

It all started with a little Google+ page called Miami Fashion Bloggers, started by Annie Vazquez. Annie invited all of us to join in on the group as a place to promote our individual blogs, and to bring attention to the growing Miami fashion scene. In a few short weeks, the page started growing rapidly and we realized we had a good opportunity to both share and gain readers – which is enough convincing for me.
I quickly wanted to use this opportunity to produce a group photo as I’ve only ever worked with either myself or a couple of models and was itching to tackle something bigger. Scheduling was bound to be the biggest obstacle, but bloggers tend to be on top of their shit so I was willing to take it on.
David was, as always, up to the challenge. He is pretty amazing like that. Let’s me come up with some ridiculous concept and then we work out the details from there. Once I got everyone to agree to a group photo, I pretty much instantly knew the scene. I have a large inspiration folder that I add to daily and there is one photo called ‘Flamingo Kids’ I recently added that was my current obsession. It seemed almost too perfect for a group of Miami Bloggers.
Turns out it freakin’ is perfect. Photographed by Sebastian Mader, for Interview Magazine March 2012, the photo is inspired by 1950s Florida. Amazing!

That’s interesting. Look again closely, there are a few races represented. For black specifically check out RiaMichelle.com. She is right next to me, second to the left on the bottom.
