Capture Fashion by Amanda Del Duca

I would have never considered featuring a lingerie story on Capture Fashion a few weeks ago. I’m pretty shameless on here when it comes to bikinis and lil dresses, but full on bra and panties is…well, intimidating.

After getting contacted by a good friend at Lou Paris, I quickly said yes not really thinking about how I would approach the creative direction for a blog post on lingerie. I do that sometimes – just book a project and then figure it out/panic later.

Anyway, a couple days later I received a package from Lou-Paris filled with gorgeous sets with beautiful lacework. The whole thing immediately became real. I was excited and nauseous over how this shoot would go down.

Capturing the stellar corsetry and embroidery of the intimates was an obvious goal, and I also wanted to tell a story.  My first thought was to document a normal day in the life. As they say, art imitates life – well here is a typical day for me. Oh yea, only I never get fully dressed. xx
