Mr. Ford has taken a seriously controlled approach to his foray back into womenswear since the designers previous work at Gucci. The images from the collection’s much-talked-about private presentation have finally been released on Harper’s Bazaar, featuring the fabulous couture on model’s that Ford himself admires.

“The women [in my show] don’t change their look from day to day. They have figured out who they are – that’s what makes you iconic, by the way.”

It’s kind of awesome the way Ford is withholding his collection from the media. It’s a nice step away from the instant gratification currently ruling the fashion world.  Thoughtful presentation, stellar design and building curiosity seems to suit Mr. Ford and his client very well.
